While I am in agreement with you on the point of it "just being another videogame", we should not overlook the fact that there will forever be a stigma associated with multiplayer online gaming, especially RPGs in the genre of fantasy, than to CoD or Battlefield.
I had some friends who made me feel this way. They were not the perfect. I currently have a partner that I love and cherish. She is aware of what I do and even plays her F2P account from time to time. I discovered that it was considered taboo in my teens to reveal the gaming habits you were involved in. In fact, very many of my students were in my programming classes.
Also, they were criticised often by their instructors. However, now it is a bit more acceptable for some reason, i do not know if this has to do with my getting older or the maturity of other players. Definitely seems less like a '13-year-olds game' now as it was five or six years ago.
Abyssal whip- probably my most favorite weapon of all time. It was, first and foremost the most powerful weapon available up until 2008 or so. And it still is today. Prior to the time it had its special attack changed, it also featured one of the top special attacks available as well (special attack that when you reach your maximum or reached zero). I was level 77.1 when I got my first one and was proud of it. Castle Wars was my favorite level.
Crystal Bow-I used to like this one a lot, probably because it's strong and doesn't require any ammunition (it was the first weapon with a range that could use no ammo for a long time). Kharil's Crossbow-I owned one of these crossbows in the past. It was a vast improvement over the magic shorterbow. It was a great weapon to use in Castle Wars. However, the cost of ammunition was prohibitive and it was not possible to get it back.
