A little bit of preparation in advance can go a long way in helping you perform well in your GD round.
Organizations are constantly looking to fill multiple vacancies, by identifying promising candidates and screening them. A group discussion round is one of these screening techniques, used by HR managers to hire the best talent. In a typical GD round, candidates are divided into groups of 8 to 10 members. All the groups are tested one by one, by a panel of judges. In these groups, every individual’s ability to work as team member gets judged on the basis of their point of views related to the assigned group discussion topic. The discussion can last for approximately 15 to 40 minutes, helping hiring managers to spot only those who perform under pressure.
