I mean that may hold some water in case the match used any of the earnings rather than dumping RuneScape gold. RS3 has less than 20 developers last I checked and makes well over 50 MILLION gain a year.I'm not sure what you mean. Wouldn't the owners undoubtedly be needing to maximise gain however? Cutting subscription will the earnings of half RS3. Why would the owners do that? If half their revenue drops, then they'll try and boost revenue.
That is something that you ought to tell folks like EXPHuster who make it sound like subscription fees don't matter anymore telling people to shut up about MTX. IMO Jagex is stuck to MTX after several years now is a troubling stagnation that signals a lack of direction and bad direction. We'd see membership fees increase again, if we eliminate MTX. If we got rid of subscription, then we'd see more aggressive and OP MTX to try and increase that revenue.
I'm alright with either way. It's either they move hard on MTX or focus all their efforts into building a subscription worth it. It really makes no difference to me as I've had plenty of experience playing PaytoWin games and there is always OSRS for the real rs experience. Idk if people realize that RS3's MTX is currently very aggresive, TH is actually the equal of Gacha Boxes or even Loot Boxes as the Western MMOs call it so it can't get any worse. While Gacha or Loot Boxes give out junk more often, TH is much more OP as it is a high chance in xp and bonus xp that you can buy off with keys. Though MMOs would try to restrict xp gain as much as possible to keep players playing for a period Jagex is giving it away too easily. From cashing in oddments, I have gotten an insane quantity of bonus xp from the oddments from keys using their recent promos. It is counterintuitive that they market xp to bypass lots of ability levels when the main goal of this subfees is to keep players subbed as long as possible and have them working on those skills.
They give us the infinity gauntlet perk and we maintain 5 OP rings to buy OSRS gold at precisely the same time. That wouldn't be... absolutely balanced. What, you don't think having LOTD, ROD, ASR, Vigor, and Whispers on in exactly the same time is balanced? I really don't find anything wrong with this. Let's augement what aswell.I possess a classic gizmo with"Procation 5" which gives a 0.125% chance each position to activate the distinctive impact of these rings. 2Nox, 1 Fortunate, 1 element that is ancient, 1 precious, a bond in the middle, and also 3 arch just comps which are hard/expensive to get.
