Today he looks ay Tuesdays performances in the Ottawa at Pittsburgh game and the Sharks at Kings match. Number values assigned are out of five with five being the best performance. Tomas Vokoun - 4 – He was rock solid with big battle saves on Conacher and Zibinajad. Bad angle goal cost him a 5 rating and thats the book on him. His post play can be loose. Hes very aggressive and good on second shots tonight. Has been the story in Pittsburgh since taking over Craig Anderson - 3 – He faced high quality chances all night long, had big scramble saves on Letang and Cooke, Plus two big ssaves on Crosby.dddddddddddd He kept Ottawa in the game early on. No chance on three out of four goals. Would like the Dupuis goal back, he was deep and gives up the short side, uncharacteristic of him. Jonathan Quick - 5 - Combination save on Thornton and Burns in the third period were his best. Original save was explosive and the compete level for the rebound was brilliant. Hes in last season playoff form. The big save on Galiardi was timely as well. Antti Niemi - 3 - The key to getting to Niemi is to get traffic and make it tough for him to pick pucks up. That is exactly what the Kings did. No chance on the Richards goal, redirected in front. His blocker side is going to be the focus all series long. ' ' '
