With Nate Peterman under center, the Bills found a first down with a quick pass to LeSean McCoy, but the drive sputtered shortly thereafter. Buffalo’s second drive was a three and out, as bad blocking left no room for McCoy to run.A the start of the second quarter, the Bills thought they had Chicago’s offense on the ropes, with a 3rd and 15 play outside of field goal range. But Trubisky found Trey Burton on a deep crossing route to extend the drive into the red zone.
