NEW DELHI， July 2 (Xinhua) -- At least five paramilitary troopers of India's Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were wounded in two separate grenade attacks in restive Indian-controlled Kashmir， police said Saturday.


The grenade attacks were carried out in Pulwama district， south of Srinagar， the summer capital ofd Indian-controlled Kashmir.


A paramilitary trooper was wounded Saturday after suspected militants hurled a hand grenade on a patrol party of CRPF in Tral town.


""Militants lobbed a grenade on a road opening party of CRPF in Tral today， which resulted in wounding a paramilitary trooper，"" a police official said. ""The wounded CRPF man was immediately removed to hospital and his condition is stated to be stable.""


Four CRPF personnel were wounded on Friday night after militants fired a grenade toward their camp in Litter village of the district.


""Last night militants fired a grenade and resorted to firing on a CRPF camp in Litter village here，"" a police official said. ""Four CRPF personnel were wounded in the attack.""


Police officials said CRPF personnel posted at the camp also fired in retaliation but the militants managed to escape from the area unhurt.


Reports said on Friday militants fired upon a policeman at Pakherpora in neighbouring Budgam district wounding a junior police officer and a civilian.


The attacks came at a time when India's Home Minister Rajnath Singh was on a visit to the region to review security situation in wake of increasing militant attacks.


On Thursday two militants were killed in a gunfight in Pulwama.
