Bloody hell, root for the Eagles.NFC EAST GAMESWashington Redskins at New York Giants: A Washington loss here would be great for two reasons. One, Washington would drop to 4-3 and make it easier for the Eagles to stay in the division race. And two, the Giants winning at this point only screws up their draft position. It’s not like they’re about to go on a run after advancing to 2-6. Really need Saquon Barkley to go off today. Root for Washington to lose.NFC GAMESSeattle Seahawks at Detroit Lions: My view is that the Seahwaks are more threatening to the Eagles than the Lions. Plus Detroit is only 1-2 in conference games while Seattle is 2-2. So root for the Seahawks to lose. Root for the Lions.Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Cincinnati Bengals: The 3-3 Bucs rank ahead of the Eagles in the NFC standings. Easy call to root for them to lose. Plus the Bengals winning is preferable when it comes to rooting for Baltimore to give the Eagles a better second-round pick. Need the Ravens to miss out on the playoffs. Or at least not win the AFC North. Root for the Bengals.New York Jets at Chicago Bears: The 3-3 Bears rank ahead of the Eagles in the NFC standings. Easy call to root for them to lose. Plus Sam Darnold should be your favorite non-Eagles quarterback. Root for the J-E-T-S.San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals: I think the 49ers will find a way to win another game or two this year beyond this week. So with that mind Youth Cameron Johnston Jersey , I’d also rather have them win today and give the Cardinals a better chance at the No. 1 overall pick instead of it going to the Giants. Plus there’s a great chance for a regime change in Arizona than in San Francisco, which could potentially lead to the Cardinals drafting another quarterback despite having Josh Rosen? That’d be ideal. Root for the 49ers.Green Bay Packers at Los Angeles Rams: Sitting pretty at 7-0, the Rams might very well run away with the NFC even if they lose to the Packers. If you accept that the Eagles likely won’t catch LA, then it makes sense to root against the 3-2-1 Packers. Plus I always subscribe to trying to keep Aaron Rodgers out of the playoffs. But the NFC standings matter more than the pick right now. So it’s better if the Panthers lose, especially given they now have a head-to-head tie-breaker over Philly. If the Ravens lose, the consolation prize will be that they’re 4-4 and further from the playoffs. Root for the Ravens.WHAT’S LEFTDenver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs: Might as well root for Andy Reid to continue to do well. Plus the Broncos losing could make it more likely they’re willing to part with some of the players the Eagles are reportedly interested in. Denver drops to 3-5 with a loss. Root for the Chiefs.Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers: Keep the Ravens away from the playoffs. Pittsburgh currently has the AFC North lead. Might as well keep it that way. Not to mention a win would be nice for the city’s spirits right now. Root for the Steelers.Indianapolis Colts at Oakland Raiders: Happy to cheer on Frank Reich.
