Castleford Tigers have launched legal proceedings against Denny Solomona, his agent and Sale Sharks after the Aviva Premiership club on Wednesday confirmed his signing on a three-year deal.Solomona, who scored a record 42 tries in the 2016 Super League season, was contracted to the Tigers until 2018 but Castleford say he has effectively and unilaterally walked away from the remaining two years on his contract.Castleford say they repeatedly told Sale that Solomona was unavailable and it would be impermissible for them to talk to Solomona let alone sign him.
