King will be waived with an injury designation, which means that if nobody claims him he will move to the Vikings’ injured reserve list.King was drafted in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos, and bounced around the league for a big before settling in with the New York Giants. He played for the Giants in 2016 and 2017, catching 18 passes and three scores last season with New York.
