One of the great remaining questions before the season begins has to do with the practice squad. Knowing who will be on it is basically impossible Youth Devonta Freeman Jersey , but we have our guesses. Part of the trick is figuring out who is actually eligible. Thankfully, we now have a good list. A huge, appreciative hat tip to Aaron Freeman at FalcFans, who has been doing this kind of detailed work for close to 15 years. You’ll note that Garrison Smith is not on this list, but as Freeman noted in a follow-up tweet, he is indeed eligible. That means that out of the 90 men currently on the team’s roster, only 34 couldn’t be placed on the practice squad starting Sunday. The names on this list are all the ones you would expect and a few you wouldn’t (Austin Hooper? Deion Jones?!), but it gives us a solid look at who can and cannot actually be stashed away. No Matt Schaub, sadly.UPDATE: I’m hearing a lot of mixed opinions on whether Smith is actually eligible Youth Alex Mack Jersey , and the consensus seems to be that he’s not. He should be in line for a roster spot, so it’s a moot point. Based on this list, who do you think will make it?If you could take one Saints player and add him to the Falcons, who would it be? The Falcons play the Saints this weekend, and while we’re going to spend most of the run-up hating everything that team stands for, we have to admit the Saints have some good players. Players that we could root for, and perhaps even love, if they were plucked out the black and gold and put in more pleasing jersey colors, like say red and black. I’m spitballing. If you could steal one Saints player and make him a Falcon Youth Calvin Ridley Jersey , then, who are you taking? I’d be tempted to add Alvin Kamara or Michael Thomas to a spoil of riches on this Falcons offense. Terron Armstead is a truly great left tackle who would be an upgrade on Jake Matthews, and the Falcons can always use elite linemen. But injuries and the team’s quiet pass rush to this point leave me no real choice but to choose Cam Jordan, not that I’m weeping over that. Jordan is one of the league’s elite pass rushers, and a player so good he makes New Orleans’ line look strong even when nobody else is playing all that well. Joining a thinning but solid defensive end rotation in Atlanta, he’d offer a major boost to the pass rush, and the Falcons need that. Who would you add?
