The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 168.43 points, or 0.95 percent, to 17,888.35. The S&P 500 jumped 22.22 points Nike Huarache All Black , or 1.07 percent, to 2,102.63. The Nasdaq Composite Index gained 47.64 points, or 0.93 percent, to 5,156.31.


The European Central Bank (ECB) is expected to expand its easing program and cut its negative deposit rate further on Thursday.

RAMALLAH, March 18 (Xinhua) -- Israeli soldiers killed on Friday two Palestinians after attempts of stabbing and car run over attacks south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem, Israel Radio and Palestinian medical sources said.


Israel Public Radio reported on Friday afternoon that Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian young man who tried to stab an Israeli soldier near the crossroad of Gosh Itrzion south of Bethlehem.


The radio also said that Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian woman who drove a car and tired to drive it over Israeli soldiers at the same crossroad between the West Bank cities of Bethlehem and Ramallah.


Earlier on Friday Nike Huarache Black , Israeli police forces arrested two Palestinian young men in east Jerusalem for alleged attempts of carrying out stabbing attacks, adding that the police found two knives with the young men.

NEW DELHI, March 8 (Xinhua) - - Indian federal minister Smriti Irani Monday faced an accusation of ignoring to help an injured in a road accident.


The accusations were made by daughter of a doctor Ramesh Nagar Nike Huarache , who succumbed to his wounds after being allegedly hit by a car in minister's cavalcade on Expressway between Delhi and Agra on Saturday.


Nagar was accompanied by his daughter and nephew (both of whom were injured) as a car hit their motorbike.


"We were going to attend a marriage and our vehicle was hit by a car from the cavalcade of Smiriti Irani," victim's daughter told a local television news agency Asian News International (ANI). "After that from one of the cars Smriti Irani came down and with folded hands I begged for help but she out rightly rejected my pleas and left the spot. At the time my father was trying to get up another car hit him."


However, the minister's tweet about the accident are in contravention to the family's allegations.


"Tried to help the injured who were lying on the road for quiet sometime and ensured they reach a hospital. Pray for their safety," Irani wrote on twitter on Saturday.
