Fair Like everybody else in the state of Minnesota this week. . .and Minnesota Vikings T-Shirt , judging from everything I’ve seen on social media, the use of the word “everybody” in this case is only a slight exaggeration. . .Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins made his way to the Minnesota State Fair over the weekend.Or, we should say, attempted to make his way there.Apparently, upon arriving at the State Fair yesterday, Cousins couldn’t find anywhere to park his 2000 GMC Savana van, and had to depart without getting the opportunity to partake in food that has been, in some combination, deep fried Minnesota Vikings Hats , smothered in gravy, and placed on a stick. (Except for the Smoked Soft-Serve Ice Cream, which sounds pretty damn amazing, in my opinion.)According to the story from Bring Me the News, about 122,000 people found their way to the State Fair on opening day, setting a new attendance record. Given those sorts of numbers, it isn’t surprising that parking was relatively scarce.Fortunately for Cousins, the State Fair is going to be up and running for a while yet Minnesota Vikings Hoodie , so he’ll be able to (eventually) get his hands on all the high-cholesterol foods his heart desires. Hopefully he and his teammates will get the opportunity to do so.Minnesota Vikings sign Jalen Myrick to practice squad, release Jack Tocho We haven’t reached the regular season opener yet, but the practice squad shuffling is starting for the Minnesota Vikings already.On Wednesday morning, the team announced that they had signed former Golden Gophers cornerback Jalen Myrick to the practice squad. In order to make room for him, they released defensive back Jack Tocho.During his college career at Minnesota, Myrick collected five interceptions and two touchdowns. He then turned some heads by running the fastest 40-yard dash at the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine for defensive backs, clocking in at 4.27 seconds. He was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the seventh round of the draft, and appeared in five games for the Jaguars last season.Myrick’s big highlight from last year was blocking an extra point against the San Francisco 49ers in December, a kick that his Jacksonville teammate scooped up and returned for two points.Myrick was released by the Jaguars as part of their final cuts this past week Cheap Customized Minnesota Vikings Jerseys , and now finds himself back in Minnesota.Tocho, on the other hand, has once again been released from the practice squad.
