When I reference Pro Football Focus I normally call them “the good people at PFF.” I generally appreciate their work and find it both informative and revealing. But what the good evil people at PFF just posted is borderline unforgivable. PFF forecasts 9.5 wins for the Falcons Daryl Williams Jersey , 9.4 for the Saints, 7.9 for the Panthers, and it’s not even worth my time to mention the other team in the NFC South, whoever they are. In 2017 the Falcons and Panthers each finished 11-5 with Atlanta winning the division via tiebreaker. The Saints went 10-6. All three teams made the playoffs. The 2018 data is forecasting regression across the entire NFC South. I just don’t see the Panthers tumbling down to an 8-8 season. As I’ve previously written, Carolina was No. 12 in scoring last season and should have an even stronger offense this year. If the offense fires on all cylinders, the Panthers could be downright scary. I’ll forgive PFF this one time for making such an egregious error with their 15.3% prediction.
