The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback didn’t participate in 11-on-11 drills for the third straight practice for precautionary reasons after taking part the first three days.

Coach Doug Pederson emphasized that Wentz hasn’t suffered any setbacks. He said he’s encouraged by Wentz’s recovery from surgery to repair a torn left ACL last December. Wentz again was on the field for the 7-on-7 portion of practice.
”I’m very encouraged with where he’s at,” Pederson said. ”What I saw last week is enough to ease my mind. I don’t need to see him in 11-on-11 drills right now. He’s progressing extremely well. I don’t want to subject him to any setback or anything like that. I want to keep him progressing and moving forward. Those couple of days that we had with him (last week) were very exciting, very encouraging for me.”
Wentz said he feels great physically and understands that the medical staff wants to keep him in a controlled environment. He still hasn’t been cleared for contact. His goal is to be ready for Week 1 when the defending Super Bowl champions host the Atlanta Falcons on Sept. 6.
”I’m sticking to my goal. Again Olivier Rodrigue Oilers Jersey , I can’t say with 100 percent certainty it’s going to be,” Wentz said. ”Ever since the injury, we’ve been saying it’s a fluid process. Injured Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier is going home.
Shazier was released from the hospital on Thursday, nearly two months after suffering a spinal injury in a victory over Cincinnati. The Pro Bowler underwent spine stabilization on Dec. 6 and while he was able to travel a bit, including visiting team practices and making appearances at Heinz Field for games Shaquem Griffin Color Rush Jersey , he returned to the hospital each evening.
The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center says Shazier will transition to an outpatient therapy program.
The 25-year-old Shazier posted a picture on Instagram of him standing alongside Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger shortly after his discharge was announced. Shazier has his left arm draped over Roethlisberger’s shoulders and his right hand on something for support. Shazier thanked everyone from family to teammates to doctors to fans for their support and said he will ”continue to work hard and push and find a way back.”
”I want everyone to know that I’m moving on to the next step of the process,” Shazier wrote.
Shazier has not disclosed the exact nature of his injury. He used a wheelchair as transport while attending team events following his surgery.
NOTES: The Steelers signed punter Jordan Berry to a one-year contract extension for the 2018 season on Thursday. Berry, 26 Youth Marcus Davenport Jersey , could have become a restricted free agent in March. He averaged 43.2 yards per punt in 2017, his third since taking over as the team’s punter.
