TOKYO Puma Basket , Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- The Japanese government said on Friday morning that a ballistic missile launched from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) had flown over northern Japan and fallen into the Pacific.


The government said the missile landed around 2,000 km east off the cape of Erimo in Hokkaido at around 7:16 a.m. local time (2216 GMT Thursday).


The launch came after the United Nations Security Council voted in favor of a resolution toughening sanctions on the DPRK following its sixth nuclear test on Sept. 3.


Regarding the latest launch, Japan condemned the DPRK's "excessive provocation" in strongest terms, Japan's top government spokesperson Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said Friday.


Suga also said that no damage had been reported as a result of the missile which was launched before 7 a.m. local time.


Specifically he said that no potentially dangerous debris had fallen from the missile, confirming that no aircraft or ships in the region have been hit or damaged as a result of the launch and missile's flight.




NEW DELHI Puma Suede , May 29 (Xinhua) -- At least 23 people have been killed in lightning and rain-related incidents in the eastern Indian state of Bihar in the past 24 hours, officials said Monday.


While 18 people were killed due to lightning across eight districts, others died in a wall collapse incident triggered by a storm in the state's West Champaran district.


"Of the 18 persons killed in lightning, five died in East Champaran district, four in Jamui district Puma Rihanna , one in West Champaran district, two each in Munger, Bhagalpur and Madhepura district and one each in Vaishali and Samastipur districts," a disaster management official said.


"Five others died in a wall collapse incident in Bihar's West Champaran district due to a storm," Manoj Kumar Puma Fenty , a disaster management official, told the media.


The state government has announced a compensation of 400,000 rupees (6,000 U.S. dollars) for each of the affected families.

DHAKA Puma Sneakers , June 4 (Xinhua) -- The World Bank has approved 100 million U.S. dollars financing to support Bangladesh in diversifying exports in labor and skill intensive industries beyond the garment sector.


The Export Competitiveness for Jobs Project will improve competitiveness of existing and potential export-oriented industries such as leather, footwear, plastics and light engineering, where Bangladesh has demonstrated a competitive edge, said the Washington based lender in a statement received here Sunday.


The project will help create more than 90 Puma Shoes ,000 jobs in non-Ready Made Garment (RMG) export sectors, it said.


"Bangladesh is the world's second largest garments exporter after China and it can boost growth by diversifying its exports, and repeat the garment sector success story in other sectors," said Qimiao Fan, World Bank Country Director for Bangladesh Puma Basket Sale , Bhutan and Nepal.


"The project will help the economy to integrate further into the world trading system, and provide better jobs to Bangladeshi youth entering the labor market in the next decade, with a particular focus on improving female labor participation."


The project will help firms to access international markets and enhance their ability to comply with international standards through awareness building and matching grants.


The project will also support marketing and branding efforts to strengthen linkages to existing and new markets. It will also address the shortage of skills development, especially in industrial training for women, as well as in infrastructure and technology.


"The project will enhance growth and competitiveness of selected sectors that have a demonstrated comparative advantage or that provide essential inputs in export-oriented manufacturing value chains Puma Suede Sale ," said Michael Olavi Engman, World Bank Team Leader for the Export Competitiveness for Jobs Project.


"The project will encourage training to improve skills and labor productivity, and thus help generate better-paid jobs. The average wage growth for firms benefitting from the project could rise by an estimated 34 percent by the end of the project."


Although the RMG sector constitutes 82 percent of exports, employment growth in the sector has stalled. However, the non-RMG manufacturing sectors have been generating about 300 Puma Rihanna Sale ,000 new jobs annually since 2010.


Light manufacturing sub-sectors, which are labor intensive and employ women, have expanded employment by 4.3 percent annually since 2010. The project will build on this momentum, and help increase the number of firms directly exporting in targeted sectors by about 29 percent.
